Aww, that's so mean asking this, you will think I'm weird... lol, I really like the smell of a man's cologne mixed in with a tiny bit of man odour hahaha... :S

Alexis, who I've known since I was 3, and still hang out with!! xx

It was drama!! haha,

Mmmm, I love banana and mango juice, (Any juice really), red bull, Baileys!! mmmm

Eeek too many!! Because I study by distance, anything between 4-8 hours a day!!

Adult!? I believe it could have been Patricia Cornwell's 'Post Mortem', excellent series!

Lest We Forget

ANZAC was the name given to the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey early on the morning of 25 April 1915 during the First World War (1914-1918).


As a result, one day in the year has involved the whole of Australia in solemn ceremonies of remembrance, gratitude and national pride for all our men and women who have fought and died in all wars. That day is ANZAC Day -- 25 April.


So many lives given, for so many to live.
Safety put aside, to be in place for their loved ones and nation.
Many tears shed, many memories held onto.
Forever in our hearts, forever our gratitude,
For the men and women who risk their lives,
Carrying the pride of their nation as they face the unknown. 
Lest we forget.

So! I was given an award today!! :D I get so happy when I get one! haha, smalls things amuse...

Dogs! Loyal, playful, cuddly, always happy to see you! :)

Oooh, I do like a good book, and I also appreciate a good performance or cinematography!

Picnic piccies!

Ok,
So I'm kinda excited about tomorrow, the weather has been beautiful lately, and myself and some friends of mine who I have known since primary school (!!!) are going on a picnic!! :D


Two of the gals have beautiful little boys (One who I am godmother for and absolutely adore).
One friend thought I was nuts for suggesting such a thing! haha, but they came around, and I am so excited! 
I get a chance to take some pictures, along with some great food! :)


I love taking photos, mainly of natural un-posed shots that capture a moment which would otherwise go unnoticed. There's something special about capturing a child's emotions or facial expressions, it's like you've caught a glimpse into a magical world that only they can see!


Such magic!

52 Week challenge, week 12-14

So I started a challenge at the start of the year to take one picture of myself each week.
Sort of a way to be comfortable with the person I am, and see if there is any transformation by the end of the year!

Against all reason and sensibility this has happened!
I shake my head in the absurdity of it all.

One wrong turn

I was given my first award by Alice In Wonderland, a beautiful soul, and I have been asked to share 7 things you may not know about me!


I have a book of poems (for lack of a better word)  that no one has ever read.


When I was younger I genuinely thought if I believed enough, I could fly! (I sometimes still do!)


A way I can tell if I like someone is by looking in their eyes! You can always tell if a person has given up on the wonders and hope of life through their eyes; just in the way you can tell they still have curiosity and trust in the world they live in.


I think I have a gift, but I don't know how to harness it. 


Jewel's "A night without Armor" is the first book of poems I had ever read. I wanted to be like her so much, she has helped me to be the person I am today now that I think of it, such a strong soul.


I can't stand when people chew with their mouth open! I get so angry! 


I prefer to listen more than talk.

Focus on your smile

It's occurred to me lately that people need to focus on what makes them smile, not frown.


I just posted on my facebook "What's one thing that made you smile today?" And it attracted such a range of responses, some funny, cute, kind and beautiful responses!


When you think about it, everyday there will be at least one thing that will make you smile!
Be it a text message from someone you like, something on tv, a song, a childs laughter, or a spontaneous memory!


Sure there will be things that make you frown or upset possibly, but really, being negative is such an energy drainer! And being negative becomes a bad habit.


So each day, just think back on something that made you smile! Write it down, share it or blog about it!

Keep smiling beautiful souls!! :)

Wind

There's something calming about the wind,

Ever noticed that there is a colour you are always drawn to?

For me it is blue...

Perhaps this is because it represents my water zodiac,

Perhaps it is because it doesn't represent a 'typical girl' colour,

Perhaps it's because it is such a calming colour,

Perhaps it reminds me of my Grandma's blue & white dinner sets,
