Hold my hand,
Life is beautiful!
Spin with your hands in the air,
bring your head up to the sky!
Life is beautiful!
Feel the serenity,
golden on your skin.
Life wraps around you,
runs through you,
blesses you!
The wind through the trees,
Dance to its rhythm!
Life is beautiful,
in all its intricate simplicity!
Every moment, unique in its own. Life is beautiful.

God, if you can read this, please..
I've come home from training,
It's been 40 degrees celcius, all day.
I'm exhausted and dehydrated.
The cyclone Isa has been making way,
It promises to hit very soon.
My brother is driving 14hrs to be with his family,
To protect them.
I can just feel the urgency in his soul as he drives through the night,
Driving as I write this,
To his family.
His heart pounding, determined; I'm certain.
Driving as Isa draws near,
ready to bring her rage and destruction,
And leave while a sorrowful silence lingers in her aftermath.
And what am I doing?
Sitting.
Thousands of kilometers away.
Powerless.
All I can do,
Is pray.
Let them know I love them.
God, please
Watch over everyone,
Their beautiful souls.
Please, let the courage and strength of our people
Win the battle against Mother Nature,
This one time.

Do you think it's possible?
I feel like a child,
eager and excited to be told that everything I believe in is real,
clinging on to hope with bewildering eyes.
Do you believe that true love is found at first glance?
At first sight?
I was sitting at a table,
Of middle aged people,
grown into their lives.
Two speak of how they met their partner.
The man spoke of his wife,
And as they stood at the altar, she looked at him and said "I always knew I was going to marry you. I was told, I will fall in love with and marry a man in uniform."
The woman said "And as I saw him walk past, I told the girls 'See that man? He's mine!' I knew I was going to marry him right there and then."
Do you think this is the way it's meant to be with everyone?
The relationships that last,
Are the ones sparked by an instant knowing?
Or are these people the exception to the rule?
Are we meant to wait all our lives for that small chance we'll receive that same fate?
Run into our soul mate and just know?

In silence the truth speaks...
In absence
Silence fuels the paranoia.
This can be deadly to fate,
But,
If silence persists,
And you listen
You come to learn
That your fearful thoughts
Were in the end,
The hurtful reality
You dared not face.
In avoidance
You continued to linger
In deceitful hope.
Silence fuels the paranoia.
This can be deadly to fate,
But,
If silence persists,
And you listen
You come to learn
That your fearful thoughts
Were in the end,
The hurtful reality
You dared not face.
In avoidance
You continued to linger
In deceitful hope.

Life crossroad...
What do you do...
Two paths,
The one you long to travel,
It appears to be everything you imagined,
it teases you with its perfection.
the one you try to forge ahead...
But it won't let you in.
Its path is darkened with uncertainty,
yet the heart is filled with desire, so much desire.
Then, as desperation sets in place of hope
to travel that path,
Another opens.
The same, yet just not the same;
You can tell.
It calls for you,
You can see its path,
And where it will lead you,
Exactly where you wanted,
It's just not the same path, is all.
To travel the path of uncertain fate,
Or to travel a path clear with certainty and contentment?
Two paths,
The one you long to travel,
It appears to be everything you imagined,
it teases you with its perfection.
the one you try to forge ahead...
But it won't let you in.
Its path is darkened with uncertainty,

A scar to remember
Our strongest muscle is the heart,
They beat with anticipation, fear and excitement,
They break with heartache,
They heal, learn and become guarded
Only to do it again and again,
A vicious cycle
Is the search for love.
Our scars remind us,
But don't let them stop us.
The bigger the fall,
The longer the rush!
Meet Tinkles! My first pet :) From my sister and mum. x

Chapter 3:
At what point do we know
That risk has its reward?
At what point do we run for that edge?
My eyes can't lie,
They never could.
If you look, for those who take the time;
You'll see me wanting to run,
Run towards the edge,
Leap,
Arms spread.
Feel the wind,
The rush,
The faith,
The reward.
Oh, how I crave to run!
Towards that edge,
Let me run, leap and fall!
Look into my eyes,
They do not lie.
Look, trust and believe.
That risk has its reward?
At what point do we run for that edge?
My eyes can't lie,
They never could.
If you look, for those who take the time;
You'll see me wanting to run,
Run towards the edge,
Leap,
Arms spread.
Feel the wind,
The rush,
The faith,
The reward.
Oh, how I crave to run!
Towards that edge,
Let me run, leap and fall!
Look into my eyes,
They do not lie.
Look, trust and believe.
